… on Perfectly Normal Island. Monday 22nd September 2022 was the day of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. The UK more or less shut down. It was really strange to someone like me who wishes for the abolition of the royal family.
So I grabbed my DSLR and pointed it at various places that would normally have been busy at 11am on a Monday morning. It felt right to convert to greyscale. It was, for this anti-monarchist, a very grey day. A very strange day with (mostly) deserted streets. Or, as I think of it: A Perfectly Normal Day on this Perfectly Normal Island.
