Parakeets in the UK?

The ring-necked parakeet is a naturalised but invasive species in a growing area of the UK, spreading outwards from the greater London area. We see them in our garden multiple times a day, year-round. They are colourful, sometimes noisy, and great fun to watch.

These photos were taken in our front garden during the summer of 2023.
